I was expecting to order the Fl!pper scraper that’s pictured as I originally purchased this a few years back and wanted to get another for my other tank. After searching everywhere, I found it here and ordered it. Instead of receiving this one, I received the Fl!pper Float in its same size. I kept it because I actually liked the float better as it’s easier to navigate. The only thing that I wish was different was the size of the internal scraper itself. The one picture/advertised was thinner compared to the float that is thicker and harder to get between rock and glass. I believe the original one advertised may be discontinued because I cannot find it anywhere else besides this post and would explain why I received a different one in my package instead of what was advertised.
The float though works really well! It’s easy to move across the glass and it gets everything on the first run through.

I had a normal magnetic algae cleaner/scraper for over a decade. I had to put so much muscle into it and it still barely removed algae. This one is magic, only requires 1 or 2 passovers and the algae is gone. Worth every penny.
It will have to be replaced after 3 months if heavily used, it begins to rust where the scraper is. But it works great and makes cleaning my saltwater tank a lot easier. I just wish it would float if you drop it in the tank or it separates from the other half. But it is a very useful tool.
